fall is here... if you count me getting an iced pumpkin spice latte instead of my normal coffee order as fall because honestly it's still 97 degrees almost every day and it doesn't feel like fall at all. unfortunately it's hard to dress in all our favorite fall items when it's a million degrees out but don't worry we're here to help you figure out how to break out the sweaters and jeans as early as possible.

  1. pair your fave sweaters with a skirt or shorts

we love this sweater and skirt combo our shopgirl gracie put together! it's everything we love about fall but manageable when the temps are still in the upper 80s! her sweater is the stitched with love sweater in charcoal and she paired it with the viper tiered skirt.
  2. Break out your jeans but keep your top in summer mode

don't be afraid of grabbing your jeans, just balance them out with a tank or lighter top! it's all about balance while we wait for temps to drop. if you're deadset on a piece of denim, let your upper half breathe! we love how avrie brought in some fall vibes in this outfit with the color and the corduroy but kept herself from breaking a sweat by pairing her flares with a lightweight short sleeve top! she's wearing the cord-ially flares and the sir yes sir top if you want to get specific!
  3. Utilize shorts!

don't forget about the denim of summer just yet! pair your shorts with your favorite blouses, blazers and layering pieces... this casual look gracie put together is so fun and perfect for a late summer/early fall night out! she's wearing the cold blooded top and paired it with a pair of already sold out for the season shorts but any denim cutoffs can recreate the look!
  4. jean skirts! jean skirts! jean skirts!

pair your favorite sweaters, blouses and thermals with a jean skirt! nothing screams fall quite like a nice denim skirt and we can't believe how versatile they are! whether you need to be a bit more dressed up for work or you want a nice casual day off outfit, your jean skirt has got you!
  5. bring 'em out - the nice fall booties

don't be afraid to pair your favorite booties with dresses and shorts and skirts... it's a nice way to let your legs breathe and bask in the last days of summer weather while breaking out some fall style! they also tend to add a cute little western feel which is super on trend right now. gracie is wearing the shollie bootie in brown if you want hers!
  6. Fall colors, summer 'fits

if you absolutely can't bring yourself to wear a sweater and jeans right now, it's okay! The easiest way to add a touch of fall to your outfits is by switching gears to fall colors. Switch that bright blue or white tank to a rust or teal and you'll be giving off a fall vibe while keeping yourself cool! speaking of fall colors, we are obsessed with the fall colors of this cute dress, perfect to wear right now or to save and wear with a hat for all the fall festivals!
